"2007 schedule coming soon"  for all locations

Even if you’ve been riding for some time, there’s always something new to learn. Increasing numbers of seasoned riders are taking advantage of the
5 to 6 hour Experienced RiderCourse Suite to hone their riding skills and
fine-tune the mental skills needed for survival in traffic.
Goldwing

Using your own motorcycle, you’ll put into practice the techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering, swerving and the use of counterbalancing
skills for slow, tight turns.

On the range you’ll discuss with your peers how to balance the mental and physical aspects of safe riding, manage risk, increase visibility and optimize your lane position. The course also provides valuable information about:

  • protective gear
  • rider responsibility
  • motorcycle inspection
  • care and the effects of alcohol and other drugs on riding.

The ERC Suite courses may qualify graduates for insurance premium discounts with some motorcycle insurers.

Your passenger can take the ERC with you. They’ll gain a better
understanding of “why-you-do-what-you-do” while riding and learn
techniques for riding more safely “two-up.”

  • 5 to 6 hour course
  • All range-work - no classroom
  • Open to licensed motorcyclists (Under age 18 will require the
notarized signature of a parent or guardian – contact us for a copy
    of the paperwork!)
  • ERC exercises are performed on your own motorcycle.
  • You must provide your own street-legal, registered, insured and inspected motorcycle (you will need to provide your motorcycle registration and insurance card and your bike must pass the RiderCoaches’ pre-course safety check)

You must wear protective gear as follows:

  • DOT approved helmet & eye protection
  • Full-fingered gloves
  • Long sleeved shirt or jacket
  • Long pants
  • Sturdy, over-the-ankle footwear
  • Class size is limited to 12 students
